Job Summary:

This position is responsible for developing and executing the channel sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and market expansion. The individual is expected to have substantial experience in channel sales management, a proven track record of building successful partner networks, and the ability to foster strong relationships with channel partners.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Channel Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Identify and prioritize target markets and potential channel partners in Japan.
  • Partner Recruitment and Management: Identify and onboard new channel partners, such as resellers, distributors, and value-added partners, to expand the company's market reach. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Set ambitious sales targets for the channel sales team and channel partners. Monitor performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue goals.
  • Channel Enablement: Provide training, resources, and support to channel partners to enhance their understanding of the company's products or services and enable them to effectively sell to end customers.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about Japanese market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to channel sales. Use this information to identify new business opportunities and adjust the channel sales strategy accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, Robotics Field Engineers, and customer support, to ensure a coordinated and successful channel sales approach.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular channel sales reports and performance analyses to senior management. Provide insights into the channel's performance, achievements, and challenges.
  • Budget Management: Manage the channel sales budget, allocating resources effectively to optimize sales efforts and achieve a positive return on investment (ROI).

Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within Atlanta, GA and have the ability to travel
  • 3-5 years of experience in Channel Sales & Business Development.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Food Service Distribution Industries or Hospitality Software Companies like POS systems, online food delivery companies.
  • Proficiency in Channel or Key Accounts Sales.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the channel sales team and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities through channel partnerships.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills to conduct business with executive-level business owners.

Preferred Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

  • Previous hardware distribution experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced startup environment.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, engineering, or business administration
  • Sales experience with extensive knowledge of hospitality Technology and product cycle of restaurants preferred
